A Roman Marble Herm Bust of the Young Dionysos
circa 1st Century A.D.
his hair bound in a fillet, surmounted by a wreath of ivy leaves and clusters of berries, and falling in corkscrew curls over the temples and long tiered locks along the sides of the neck, the ends of the fillet falling over the shoulders; tip of nose and lower corner of shoulders in back restored.
Height 21 cm.
