With 20 years' experience at𝕴 Sotheby’s and nearly 15 years working with museums and corporations, Christy Coombs assumed leadership of the Museum and Corporate Art Group in fall 2023. Ms. Coombs works with a wide range of clients including top museum and corporate art collections as well as museum trustees, managing relationships with private collectors, museums and corporations to facilitate deaccessions, acquisitions, valuations and cultiꦗvation events. 

Mrs. Coombs received a BA in English and art history from the University of Virginia.  She🐼 became an auctioneer in December of 2016 and has conducted numerous Sotheby’s sales and benefit auctions raising millions for nonprofit organizations benefiting various institutions and organizations and the communities they serve.
