Katharine Richardson joined Sotheby’s in the fall of 2014 and has been in her current role in the Museum and Corporate Art Group since January 2016. As Vice President, she is responsible for managing and supporting relationships with over 100 institutions and corporate collections to facilitate deaccessions, acquisitions, va♍luations and cultivation events.

Prior to joining Sotheby’s, Ms. Richardson worked at Artnet and participated in the Teaching Assistant Program in France through th🌟e Cultural Services of the French Embassy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History an🅘d French Studies, with a Concentration in Museum Studies, from Smith College and received a Master’s in Art History with Distinction from The Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
