Lowri joined Sotheby’s in 2023 as an Intern in 🎶the Restitution department, before moving on to the Associates programme in 2024. She completed rotations in the Restitution, Popular Culture, and Service Operations departments before joi🌊ning the Tax, Heritage and UK Museums team in January 2025.

Lowri obtained an LLB in Law and an LLM in Art Law from the University of York prior to joining Sotheby’s. Her LLM in Art Law allowed her to explore the intersection of art and law, studying a range of topics from intellectual property law to cultural heritage protection schemes. Lowri’s dissertation, titled "An examination of the evolution of law in practice relating to the restitution of Nazi-looted artworks across four leading jurisdictions”, examined and compared legal and moral responses to the restitution of spoliated artworks in the UK, USA, Germany, and Austria.
