Biography
A graduate of ESSEC with a degree in Art History and a Master's in Heritage Management, Marie-Anne Ginoux spent nearly 20 years in the consumer-goods industry before dedicating herself to the cultural sector. She began her career as a marketing manager for an American multinational compan🐟y before turning to the arts and heritage field. In 2011, she became a project manager for the Centre Region, and was later being appointed Adminis🅘trative and Financial Manager at France-Muséums, an institution where she was later promoted to Deputy Director General. For seven years, she worked on the realization and opening of the Louvre Abu Dhabi. More recently, she served as a consultant to the Directorate-General of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, before joining the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine as Deputy Managing Director. Since 2021, she has served as Director of Sotheby’s France, overseeing auctions in Paris and Beaune.
