Tim𝔍 Murphy is a Senior♏ Director and General Manager and oversees Sotheby’s across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and is currently based in Dubai.

Since relocating from Russia to join the company ꦛin London in 2007 Tim has been instrumental in expanding Sotheby’s footprint and presence throughout the Middle East region and beyond by overseeing strategy, exhibitions, auctions along with client engagement in key markets including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, India, Turkey and Russia.

With more than two decades of international experience Ti♛m brings deep cross-cultural insight and a refined understanding of both the global art market and the regional landscape.

He has directed and managed so♈me of Sotheby’s most important initiatives in the region which include record breaking sales along with the first commercial and charity Auctions and exhibitions to have taken place in the Middle East.
