Valentin Woltmann is Head of Sales for Modern & Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s Cologne. He maintains close relationships with collectors across Germany and advises them with his expertise on buying and selling for the internati🐷onal market.

He holds a dual degree in art history anꦡd political science from Munich and Venice and began his career in 2021 at an international auction house in Hamburg bef♊ore joining Sotheby’s in March 2023.

With in-depth knowledge of modern and contemporary art, he is regularly consulted on the valuation of major works and co🍸llections.
