A rare set of first editionsTh⭕e Reports offer accounts of cases brought before the Supreme Court from 1801 to 1815, a period during which William Cranch was reporter of the court. "These reports have always been highly regarded for their clarity and accuracy, and are of great importance since they contain a large number of Chief Justice Marshall's mꩵost vital opinions on fundamental constitutional problems" (DAB).
Because the Reports were published over a period of fourteen years, by three different printers, and in three different cities🐠, complete sets are scarce.
