the tall vase with everted foot and wide petal form neck, copper-gilt mounts, decorated in various coloured enamels and thicknesses of silver wire, with butterflies and moths on a deep blue ground, the interior of the rim in vibrant colours with a profusion of chrysanthemums, the underside of the rim with wire scrollwork, the based signed with a mark of crossed hi-no-maru flags and katakana 'mo'
