A German porcelain snu꧑ff-box, probably Me🍌issen, circa 1755-1760
of pinched rectangular form, the exterior with vignettes of figures strolling through river landscapes, within pale puce and yellow scroll cartouches moulded in low relief, the interior of the cover with a Watteauesque fête galante scene, the gilt metal mounts chased with flowers
