binding: Roman russet morocco (164 x 97 mm), ca. 1520, blind fillets around sides, frame composed of two single gilt fillet🍎s flanked by multiple blind fillets, gilt mitre at angles, titled in gilt at top of central panel CAT·TIB·PROP·| VIRGILII LVSVS*, traces of 4 pairs of red fabric ties, spine with hori🌊zontal gilt titling between bands: CAT | TIB | PRO; inked knotwork on leaf edges, vellum flyleaf stained red at rear of volume.
