of cylindrical form on a stepped spreading base, the body enamelled in translucent cobalt blue, the upper edge enamelled in green with a champlevé wreath terminating at a yellow dotted rosette, in its original fitted case, struck to the base with workmaster's initials, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 11179
height 4.1cm; 1 5/8 in.
Acquired by the grandmother of the present owner in Russia or Paris in the first quarter of the 20th century.
