The roll-tooled border depicting Apollo, Calliope, Terpsichore and Thalia is signed C.N., which is considered to be Conrad Nei🌳del of Wittenberg (EBDB w000427), who died in 1568. Another binding with the same initials is recorded, with the date 1563.
